Double D Challenge
Could you do with One Less Meal?
Do you know a soul or two who could do with One Less Meal?
When we opened the doors we had the hopes that people would be willing to give up one meal on a regular basis and donate the meal to people who need it. Well it’s time to put this in full force! It’s time to put your money where your mouth heart is!
Sign up for the Double D Challenge today!
Let’s get you started; it’s this simple. Just follow the steps below and don’t move on to the next step until you’ve completed the one you’re reading.
- Decide how often you’re willing to give up a meal*. Weekly? Monthly? Yearly? It’s all good.
- Send us an email and tell us of your intentions. (That’s right, click on the little hyperlink; you can do it) We will then harass, uh, send you a reminder email as your commitment day approaches.
- Send another email to two friends letting them know what you’re doing. They don’t need to join you. They just need to understand why you’re so cranky every so often from food deprivation.
- Make sure you feel full because the next step requires your commitment to the cause. We’re about to take you back into the diner to order the meal you’re not going to eat. Yep after you donate the meal you’re giving up a meal today. Don’t worry; it won’t kill you (and the reason we had you do Step 3). Trust us; we can all do with One Less Meal. Ask Earlene. Click here to make that first Double D Diner Challenge donation.
Thanks!!

* – a meal could be as small as a cup of coffee. We’re not like those big fancy places who beg for your donations and then the smallest donation option is $100. Our recipients are thrilled when they receive a few dollars and have learned how to make the most of the paltry amounts of poultry they can buy.
